Artists are invited to set-up an easel 12:30-5:30pm in the midst of Communiversity to capture the moment, the mood, the magic. Help us grow this exciting aspect of Communiveristy, now in its second year.

Pre-Registration is required
Email your name and preferred designated location (Hinds Plaza, Palmer Square Green, Tiger Park, stage-side at Chamber Street, or University Campus) to by 5pm on Friday, April 11, 2014. (Location assignment cannot be guaranteed, but we will do our best.) Space is limited and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Registrations will be accepted in the order in which they are received and you can expect an email confirmation of your registration within 48 hours.


Participation Guidelines
All registered participants must come to the Paul Robeson Center for
the Arts between 11:30am and 1:30pm on Sunday, April 27 to have their
canvas stamped, sign a participation agreement and receive their
location assignment.

Artists supply their own materials, canvas and easel. All work must be
created on April 27, 2014, solely by the registered artist, on site,
without any photographic or mechanical assistance. Artwork size must
be no larger than 16 inches x 20 inches. Artwork may include oils, acrylics, pastels, and water media. No photography or non-paint media allowed. The allotted time for painting is 12:30 – 5:30pm.

Artists agree to allow the Arts Council of Princeton to photograph and
reproduce their artwork as well as well as images of him/her at work for
promotions in media including but not limited to newspapers, magazines,
and digital media.

Artists who would like to exhibit their work at the Paul Robeson Center
for the Arts must bring their work ready to hang to the Robeson Center by 5:45pm on Sunday, April 27, 2014. If you choose to exhibit your work, please be advised that the maximum outer dimensions are 16" x 20" (including frame; frame not required). The Arts Council of Princeton will host an exhibition from April 27 through May 10, 2014 of Communiversity Paint Out Princeton artworks alongside artworks from the Morven Paint Out Princeton to be held on May 4, 2014. A closing reception will be held on Saturday, May 10 from 3-5pm. The ACP will take a standard 30% commission on the sale price of all artwork sold at the Robeson Center for the Arts, the proceeds of which support the exhibition program. (Artworks do not have to be for sale.)

All artwork must be removed by the artist or buyer by 5:00pm on
May 10, 2014. Any artwork remaining after this time becomes the
property of the Arts Council of Princeton.
