Tired of the same old “cookie cutter” approach for your child’s birthday party? Have your child’s party at the Paul Robeson Center for the Arts and enjoy a customized, quality art experience led by a talented art instructor! Your party can be scheduled during the week or on Saturday (subject to availability). The Arts Council staff will work with you to customize your child’s party around his or her special interests and hobbies. No two parties are alike!
Art Parties are 90 minutes in length and include a one-hour art project with an instructor in a studio, followed by 30 minutes of cake and ice cream in another room. A white paper tablecloth (unless you choose to provide your own) is provided in the cake room. Hosts provide cake, refreshments, utensils, cups, plates and one table of decorations.

A deposit of $150 is required to book the space.
The balance is due the day of the party.
We accept MasterCard, Visa, Amex, cash and checks.
- A 100% refund will be given if the party is canceled a minimum of four weeks prior to the party date.
- A 50% refund will be given if the party is canceled at least three weeks prior to the party date.
- A 25% refund will be given if the party is canceled at least one week prior to the party date.
- No refund will be given if the party is canceled six days or less prior to the party date.
