Classical Figure Painting

- $295

Enjoy painting from a live nude model in this new 3-day workshop covering setting up and lighting the model, the stages of an oil painting including practical and effective color mixing, and paint handling techniques. Much of the class will be devoted to accurate “seeing” and how to achieve a representative and lively image of the model including practical anatomical drawing tips. Class focus is general, but also focused on the individual needs of each student. This is an intensive class environment designed to give participants a large amount of information quickly in an enjoyable and inspiring setting. All levels are welcome, but some previous drawing or painting experience from the live model would be helpful. Bring a lunch & beverage to enjoy during the brief break each day.
