Painting Critique

- $110

The studio can be a lonely place for students seeking inspiration and support as they try to transition from student to working artist. This new workshop offers both. The inspiration will come from the portrait model that will be available for one long pose for the entirety of the class. The support will come in the form of an individual critique of each student’s work delivered by the instructor. Each student is encouraged to bring six or less recent paintings, done independently or in other classes for critique from which the instructor will offer insightful suggestions designed to help each student to develop an impressive body of work. The interaction with the instructor, like-minded students and the model are ideal for the student /artist who has progressed from the more formal class situation. Registration includes model fee.

3D Felted Vessels & Bowls

Absolutely no knitting is involved and no previous felting experience is necessary. Expect a bit of physical work while making felt.
Materials will be supplied by the instructor at an additional cost of $15 per person. Please bring a plastic container, a bar of soap and 2 old towels to class.
