The Arts Council invites our community to participate in the ACP Sketch Club, a sketchbook journaling project encouraging individuals and families to devote time each day to complete a page in a sketchbook (or any notebook or sheet of paper) that details your time spent social-distancing. Not only can this daily practice and commitment to a visual arts project bring peace and inspiration, but by joining the ACP Sketch Club, you’ll add your voice to the collective conversation and chronicles of life during self-isolation. It’s completely free to participate and requires no registration.

  • Create a new page every day to share a little bit about how you’re spending your time, how you’re feeling, or just a doodle! Draw, journal, paint, collage, fill your pages with poetry — just make it ‘you’.
  • Be sure to include the date on each page.
  • When your daily page is complete, take a photo or scan your page, and upload it to your Facebook or Instagram account (or both!). Be sure to include the hashtag #acpsketchclub in your caption, and tag the Arts Council of Princeton in the post. Each day, we will share participants’ posts from the previous day.
  • Encourage others to join! This is a truly special opportunity to gather unique perspectives from all around our community and beyond.

This iteration of the ACP Sketch Club will run for 30 days from Tuesday, March 17 through Thursday, April 16. Questions? Contact ACP Program Manager Melissa Kuscin at mkuscin@artscouncilofprinceton.orgHappy sketching!
