In July of 2020, the Arts Council of Princeton completed work on a new mural on the corner of Witherspoon & Spring Streets.

After a months-long period of local restaurants, cafes, and shops being closed amidst the COVID-19 shutdown, Witherspoon Street had undergone a transformation into a pedestrian-friendly extension of outdoor dining and spaces to relax. The Arts Council created the Stronger Together mural as a reminder to all Princetonians to support our neighbors and beloved small businesses as we do our best to navigate this unprecedented time. Through the twists and turns of all the uncertainty, the Arts Council is shouting from the rooftops, “we got this, Princeton!”

Like all great community projects, this was a collaborative one. Thank you to the town of Princeton for making this possible and to Hamilton Building Supply Company/HBS Home for donating high-quality materials. Plus, a big thanks to our friends at Kucker Haney Paint Company and Village Silver for their neighborly support and words of encouragement.
