Fabric Dyeing: Morven

Self-expression through fabric dyeing is a wonderful way to explore creativity while having fun and creating beautiful results. Learn the ancient arts of hand-dyeing and Shibori in a hands-on one-day indoor/outdoor workshop in a fabulous fall setting at Morven Museum. Create three stunning or edgy scarves, learn dyeing methods for cotton, silk and rayon, pleating, wrapping, texture and surface design. Develop a skill base for blooming your own creative process. No prior experience needed.  What you create will amaze you! A materials fee of $35.00 is payable to the instructor.
Wear old clothes, bring lunch and any silk or cotton pieces you have at home to play with in addition to the three scarves provided.
