“Remembering Pete Seeger”

- FREE

Spook Handy is a nationally touring folk musician and New Jersey native who has had the fortune of performing over 50 concerts and festivals with Pete Seeger. With Pete as his mentor, Spook learned many of his songs and the stories behind them. Spook is joined by Paul Prestopino who backed up Peter Paul and Mary on tour and in the studio for 14 years, Bob Harris who toured and recorded with bluegrass legend Vassar Clements and Ron Greenstein who plays bass for the Chad Mitchell Trio. Spook was named “Best Folk Artist” by Upstage Magazine, Gannett New Jersey, The Courier News, The Home News and About.com. “Remembering Pete Seeger” is a tribute to one of America’s most exemplary citizens and historical figures and who is recognized as one of America’s greatest folk artists.

This is the fifth of ten weekly performances at the Princeton Shopping Center as part of our Annual Summer Courtyard Concert Series
