Founded in 2011, the African American Cultural Collaborative of Mercer County has worked to become “more than just a festival” with goals of collaborating to educate, empower and unite through cultural arts, health and wellness, entertainment, and sports. This focus is centered on cohesiveness among generations of families to celebrate the rich heritage that unites Africans in the diaspora across cultures.
This performance is part of the Arts Council of Princeton’s Community Stage Series. Community Stage productions are free (and nearly free) held in collaboration with local artistic groups and organizations. Community Stage programming enable the Arts Council’s Solley Theater to act as an accessible space for community partnerships and high-quality artistic experiences.
