Of his work on view at the Robeson Center, Strzelec says, “Pure abstraction can provide a visual, intellectual, and visceral impact. The outdoor work on the sculpture terrace has been an investigation of this concept for the past 25 years. The ambiguity of form illustrates a type of narrative allowing for a personal interpretation. This group of work is intended to inspire a conversation with or by the viewer through its reference to our connection to life but through a reality transformed.”
