The Chuck Lambert Band represents a commitment to expanding the range and scope of the Blues. It incorporates the vitality and innovation of modern electric blues with the soul and depth of its traditional forms. Each member of the band is an exceptional talent but their unity puts them on a whole different level. Chuck completes the musical fellowship with his distinguished vocals and superb guitar playing. The result of their synergy is a unique and original narration of the power of the Blues and its enduring legacy.
AJOYO is the vision of multi-reed player Yacine Boularès, a mystic brew blending African tradition, jazz and soul. More than music, it’s a joyful ceremony, a fuller experience bringing musicians and audience close together. Stomping towards you in the eye of the dancer, arms open, horns, bell and bass interwoven like the fabric of a ceremonial dress, AJOYO speaks the language of the talking drum with a New York accent. AJOYO celebrates life, love and justice through music: music for the heart, the mind and the body, the kind that is soulful, sophisticated and that makes people want to dance.
Supreme Love Orchestra
There is a bond, a connection, visceral, unspoken, between musicians in a musical group. The Supreme Love Orchestra under the direction of John Henry Goldman play together impeccably through some unseen link, changing rhythms and tempos and feels as if they were one instrument. It can be said of many musicians and composers that underlying all that we do is the spirit of love – an abiding care and hope for the well-being of all humanity, in fact, all things living, all that is of this earth, and of the heavens. This is, Supreme Love.
