SUMMARY:Annual Pop-Up Beer + Wine Garden 2026
DESCRIPTION:Meet area artists\, receive peer-to-peer feedback\, and share creative resources. Princeton Crit provides a monthly space for artists to come together to share and discuss their creative practice. Together\, we’ll foster an atmosphere of constructive peer-to-peer criticism\, free of judgment and open to all. We encourage a diversity of voices\, mediums\, artistic skills\, and projects in varying stages of completion. It is our core belief that every artist has something to offer\, regardless of experience level or background. How it works: Crits are held monthly on every last Tuesday of the month in the Arts Council of Princeton’s Solley Theater.Participants may arrive as early as 6pm to set up their work. The crit will begin at 6:30.Each session is limited to 10 participants to allow sufficient time for each artist to present their work for feedback. Each artist will receive a 10-minute critique of their work. Artists may bring up to three pieces for discussion\, no exception. The Arts Council will provide easels for the display of your work. Pedestals may be made available — kindly let us know in the registration form if you’re displaying 3D work.A $10 registration fee helps cover costs of running this resource for area artists.Princeton Crit policies: Artists must be at least 18 years of age. When critiquing\, be mindful of listening without interrupting. When offering constructive feedback\, refrain from using harsh\, rude\, or disrespectful language. Be aware of the 10-minute time limit and allow others to speak if you have already provided feedback. When presenting\, be open to constructive feedback on your work and respectful of fellow artists’ work.Silence your phone for the duration of the crit session.
