SUMMARY:Cut Both Ways
DESCRIPTION:Cut Both Ways\nBy Artists Carol Schepps & Trudy Borenstein-Sugiura\nOn View: November 14 – December 12\, 2026\nOpening Reception: Saturday\, November 14\, 3-5pm\n\n\nCarol Schepps\nCut Both Ways\nReleased from her work as a fiber artist\, Carol Schepps has picked up the brush and pen of her original art training. Using ink\, acrylics and altered printed materials\, she composes organic shapes with an eye toward cohesion. Two artists who have known each other for decades and have bonded through and beyond their artwork. \nTrudy Borenstein-Sugiura\nHistory Lessens\n“History Lessens” presents a series of analog paper collages that recontextualize major periods in world history\, offering a fresh lens on the past through irony and reinterpretation. This exhibit features meticulously crafted collages\, blending iconic historical artwork with carefully selected texts. In each piece\, familiar figures\, symbols\, and narratives are subverted\, offering new perspectives on historical events and cultural shifts. The collages invite viewers to reflect on how history is constructed\, questioned\, and repurposed. The works provoke thought about the stories we inherit\, and how different narratives are shaped over time. Each piece encourages a fresh interpretation of history and the exhibit invites audiences to reconsider the fragments of time that define our collective historical viewpoints.

SUMMARY:MUSICIANS
DESCRIPTION:MUSICIANS\nBy David Morhaim\n\nOn View: November 14 – December 12\, 2026\nOpening Reception: Saturday\, November 14\, 3-5pm\n  \nArtist Statement\nEarly on\, I discovered that music had a direct effect on how I drew. As luck would have it\, one of my oldest friends is a successful music agent. He was kind enough to get me on-stage to draw many bands (ie. The Grateful Dead\, The Allman Bros.\, James Taylor\, Eric Clapton\, Grover Washington Jr.\, Little Feat\, Dr. John\, to name a few). Often I’d get backstage & get to meet the artists & show them the drawing I’d done. All drawings were done live at the shows and the autographs on the signed sketches are the real deal. The coloring (except for Bob Weir & Les Paul) was done in Photoshop\, later on. \n\nArtist website
