I want my prints to tell this story while highlighting the beauty of nature through a lens of human appreciation.I have spent my whole life in New Jersey and have always loved exploring the ecology of this area. I have also worked on various farms and gardens which has cultivated my connection to plants and the importance of taking care of the land.This ongoing body of work explores the ecology of Central Jersey with an understated but important focus on farms and food systems. The reference images for the prints were from farms and gardens (including my own) in New Jersey where I have worked. I want my prints to tell this story while highlighting the beauty of nature through a lens of human appreciation.I have spent my whole life in New Jersey and have always loved exploring the ecology of this area. I have also worked on various farms and gardens which has cultivated my connection to plants and the importance of taking care of the land.This ongoing body of work explores the ecology of Central Jersey with an understated but important focus on farms and food systems. The reference images for the prints were from farms and gardens (including my own) in New Jersey where I have worked. In support of our local food system a portion of the profits from these sales will be donated to Northeast Organic Farming Association of NJ (NOFA).I will also be printing live at the opening to include the viewer in the art process.
