SUMMARY:Gallery Opening: Life's Harmony: Femininity\, Divinity\, and Mandalas
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fascinating\, part-lecture\, part-live demonstration with edible artist Linda Khachadurian\, where art\, science\, and social impact collide. Linda will introduce participants to the basics of isomalt\, a sugar derived from sugar beets\, and explain why this glossy\, durable material has become her medium of choice for sculptural work. Watch as a sugar sculpture comes to life through live demonstrations of casting\, pulling\, coloring\, and blowtorching techniques\, resulting in a striking vertical piece assembled in real time. Along the way\, Linda will share examples of her work exhibited in galleries and discuss how she uses edible art to raise awareness around social causes\, offering inspiration for how creativity can be a powerful tool for meaningful change. The session will conclude with time for questions and a close-up look at the tools and techniques behind this unique art form. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n tickets\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n THANK YOU TO OUR GENEROUS SERIES SPONSORS \n \n \n \n \n \n \n VISIONARY \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n MUSE \n \n TAMARA FRANKLIN \n \n \n \n \n \n \n PATRICK DE MAYNADIER \n \n \n \n \n \n \n MARYELLEN MCQUADE & DAVID CHUNG \n \n \n \n \n \n \n LYDIA & JOHAN PFEIFFER \n \n \n \n \n \n \n DEVOTEE \n \n KOOKIE JOHNSON & TOM SHEERANMAUL POWER GROUPJAMIE PHARES

SUMMARY:OnStage Seniors: Lessons Learned and Unlearned
