SUMMARY:Artist Winter Village: Week 2
DESCRIPTION:Stylebook and the Arts Council of Princeton see a new outfit in your future. Bring garments that no longer serve you\, and the fashion fates will guide you to new-to-you pieces destined to be yours. We all have a piece of nice clothing that just didn’t work out for whatever reason. It might not fit your size\, your life\, or maybe your style has just evolved. Whatever the reason\, special clothes don’t have to be stuffed in the back of the closet or wind up in a landfill. Why not swap them for something new and see if your piece could become someone else’s wardrobe staple? In addition to swapping\, you can expect:• Learn Stylebook’s tips and tricks for maximizing your wardrobe and finding your unique style at their style expert station.• A Mending Table where a seamstress can suggest quick and clever fixes to holes\, snags\, hemming tips\, etc\, to keep your clothes out of the landfill.• And other soon to be announced activities! HOW TO PARTICIPATE: It’s a one-for-one swap: for each piece of clothing you bring\, you can take one home! The swap is first-come\, first-served: the earlier you arrive\, the more there will be to choose from! Please drop off clothing and accessories between 11-11:45am. You will check-in your items and receive one ticket per item to swap. For example\, if you bring three articles of clothing\, you’ll receive three tickets to trade for three “new-to-you” items. You can bring up to 10 items! Please bring them on a hanger if possible. After dropping off your items\, you are welcome to leave and return or join other swappers in line downstairs while mingling over coffee + pastries. The swapping will begin at 12pm. \n \n \n \n THE DOs: – Quality over quantity. You can bring up to 10 pieces\, but there is no minimum. Bring items you’d be excited to find! – Consider bringing your own reusable shopping bag to take your items home. Thanks for embracing the sustainability at the heart of clothing swaps. \n \n THE DON’Ts: – Damaged garments. Kindly check your pieces for rips\, stains\, or missing pieces. – Please stick to versatile and non-personalized pieces. For example\, please avoid bringing t-shirts with your high school mascot or family reunion sweatshirts. \n \n \n \n \n This event is held in partnership with the Stylebook closet organization app. In the event that any unclaimed items remain at the end of the event\, participants will have the opportunity to ensure all ‘unswapped’ clothes go onto their next life by donating to our Helpsy bin. \n \n \n \n \n TICKETS HERE\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n ABOUT THE STYLEBOOK APP Jess and Bill Atkins are the co-founders of Stylebook closet app\, the original outfit planner and closet organization app. Based in Princeton NJ\, the app has over 1 million users and is the best way to find your personal style. Stylebook is designed to help you carefully curate your wardrobe so you can love what you wear every day. Their goal is help you to get the most out of what you already have in your closet and to choose new pieces that will integrate well into your wardrobe as a whole. As you use the app you’ll receive automatic stats on which clothes you wear the most and least\, helping you streamline and edit your wardrobe – and identify clothes that might be good for a swap! SUMMARY:Artist Winter Village: Week 4
SUMMARY:Pop-Up Choir Princeton
SUMMARY:Jersey Art Meetup (JAM)
SUMMARY:ACP BYOB: Paint Your Date!
