Our event programming is designed to be high-quality, engaging, affordable, and accessible to the diverse population that we serve in the greater Princeton region.

BYOB events span a variety of mediums but share a common goal: to have fun while trying something new!

Story & Verse is our monthly open mic showcasing regional storytellers, poets, and spoken word artists of all kinds. Story & Verse welcomes everyone, from beginners to published performers.

All are invited to perform original works based on the monthly theme. Or, join our encouraging audience!

Story and Verse takes place the third Thursday of the month in our Solley Theater. From June-August, catch us in the amphitheater at Pettoranello Gardens.

For the past 30 years, Café Improv has connected beginning and professional performers in the Arts Council of Princeton’s Solley Theater. Serving as a vibrant musical oasis for the Princeton community, Café Improv is a gathering place to share artistic ideas and provide inspiration to others. Attendees can expect an evening of exciting local music, poetry, comedy, and more! Café Improv is easily accessible to the public through affordable admission rates of $1 for ACP Members and $2 General Admission.

From collecting art to tasting wine, our ART OF series will introduce you to the endless creativity and innovation in our community. Created by locals, for locals, these all inclusive experiences require no supplies or commitment. Just call your friends and we’ll do the rest.

Porchfest is a family-friendly event featuring musicians of all kinds playing free shows on porches throughout the neighborhood. Stroll from porch to porch and relax on front lawns and sidewalks as you enjoy live local talent!

The fourth annual Porchfest will be held Saturday, April 26 from 12-6pm. Learn more.

Shop the region’s most exciting vendors working in ceramics, textiles, printmaking, wood, glass, leather, jewelry, self-care, vintage, and more. Sip local brews in our Triumph Brewing Co Beer Garden, and get hands-on in our open studios. It’s a full day of community + creativity!

The third annual Art Bazaar will be held on Saturday, May 3 from 11am-4pm.

The Art People Party is our annual art + wine party. Each year’s theme inspires whimsy decor, creative fashions, and delectable bites from local eateries, while the signature Tombola art auction sees that every ticket holder leaves with an original piece of art.

Proceeds support the Arts Council’s Anne Reeves Artist-in-Residence program and community outreach initiatives, enriching the lives of at-risk youth, families, LGBTQ+ teens, and low-income seniors through accessible, high-quality art programming. Stay tuned for the Spring 2025 date!

Celebrate el Día de los Muertos with the Arts Council of Princeton! Join us for a free, family-friendly outdoor festival to learn about this culturally rich holiday with Mariachi, dance, delicious food and hands-on projects inspired by traditional folk art. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, November 2.

This one-day market is a unique opportunity to purchase handmade gifts directly from local artisans and crafters working in ceramics, textiles, jewelry, fine art, and more.
