Lydia Pfeiffer has applied her creative vision benefitting communities and the nonprofit sector for over 25 years.  Lydia and her family have moved over seven times to locations that include Venezuela, Norway, and Texas.  Within each new community Lydia has actively volunteered and served on several nonprofit boards.  As a person passionate about making and creating, Lydia has organized and chaired fundraisers for nonprofit organizations, local communities and her children’s schools. Lydia has a strong ability to apply innovative and creative thinking yet at the same time using practical and cost-effective applications.   Lydia started in the nonprofit sector shortly after graduating from Penn State University when she joined AmeriCorps/VISTA and worked as a fundraiser for a transitional housing organization in Alexandria, Virginia.   For the next four years, her career would continue in fundraising and development, specifically at two arts organizations the Philadelphia Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) and the Contemporary Art Museum of Houston (CAM).
