Scholarships

Art for all!  Through the generosity of foundation grants and individual donations, the Arts Council of Princeton proudly provides partial scholarships so that classes are accessible to as many people as possible.

All ages are eligible for ACP scholarships: children, tweens and teens, students, adults, and seniors.

Please read important details below and click the button to apply. With questions regarding scholarships, please email our Education Department with the subject line “Scholarship Question.”

Application Process

  • Please complete the entire application at least one month prior to the start date of your preferred class.
  • Applicants will be required to submit basic information regarding financial need. All submitted info is confidential and awards are based on need. If your child receives subsidized school lunch, there is no need to attach the requested tax form. Instead, please include the form that shows they receive subsidized lunch. If you do not file a federal income tax form, please submit copies of other verification of annual income and/or support.
  • Materials may also be submitted in-person or by mail.
    • Our address is 102 Witherspoon Street, Princeton, NJ, 08542, c/o Education Department.
  • Please note that all scholarships are partial; applications are required to pay a portion of the class fee, typically ~25% of tuition.

Recipient Obligations

  • Scholarship recipients must pay a portion of tuition for any given class. Each application is evaluated on a case-by-case basis. However, on average, the recommended minimum amount to be paid by recipient will be 25% of tuition. This payment must be made in full a least one week prior to the start of the specific program.
  • Scholarship recipients must consistently attend class as scheduled. Poor attendance may result in being excused from program and/or denial of subsequent scholarship requests.

Application Process

  • Please complete the entire application, including attaching a copy of your most recently filed federal income tax return. If your child receives subsidized school lunch, there is no need to attach tax form – instead, please include the form that shows they receive subsidized lunch. If you do not file a federal income tax form, please submit copies of other verification of annual income and/or support.
