The Arts Council of Princeton’s Receptionist & Office Assistant is a permanent part-time (up to 20 hours per week) position in a supporting role for our Education Department and Administrative office. The job is to greet the public, answer phones, and provide ACP staff with administrative support. This position reports to the Education Manager and Office Administrator.
Experience:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and General Computer Programs
Detail oriented team player, ability to work well under pressure
Excellent verbal and written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to present information concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
Duties and responsibilities:
Must be available evenings Monday-Thursday (4:30 – 9:30pm). Additional hours as needed.
Greet visitors and students at the Front Desk, answer phones, field inquiries and answer questions about the organization and its programs;
Provide clerical support customer service for class registration and other programs as needed;
Work evenings to provide program supervision;
Provide clerical support for the ACP’s administrative staff, including organizing and assisting on mailings
Close facility at end of shifts.
Other duties, as directed.
