In September 2022, the Arts Council announced a community-wide artistic endeavor, the Princeton Sketchbook Club. Participants were invited to make their mark by transforming the pages of a 30-page sketchbook to be displayed in a new art library. Everyone in the Club received the same 8×5” sketchbook, a blank slate to completely customize with their own perspective and unique voices.
Since, 300 sketchbooks were picked up by locals and sent across the country to be filled with doodles, musings, collage, or whatever medium the recipient chose to fill its pages.
On Saturday, February 11, we will celebrate the opening of the Sketchbook Library. Stop by to peruse the astonishing variety, incredible talent, and inspiring display of creative community.
