Did you know that there is a tomato named after Princeton’s own Paul Robeson? That’s right! In celebration of Robeson’s 125th birthday, the Arts Council sought inspiration from the beautiful tomatoes for which our region is famous, with a special emphasis on the variety named in his honor.
In April 2023, our neighbors at the Paul Robeson House of Princeton distributed Paul Robeson Tomato seeds as part of their Robeson Freedom Garden Campaign. Learn more at thepaulrobesonhouseofprinceton.org.
