Our Creative Voices

November 11 - December 2

Free

Every week, the Arts Council of Princeton and HomeFront connect in an art program called Arts Exchange.

Whether we are brainstorming for a project or experimenting with new media, our weekly creative time is special. Every artist is encouraged to embrace a new concept or skill, and then carry that idea in their own direction. Every work of art, just like every artist, expresses something different.

Although traditional skills are built weekly, the over-arching theme is to build confidence in our own creative voices. This piece reflects the distinct perspective of each artist.

This exhibition is held in conjunction with Arts & Health Mercer, created by a coalition of arts and culture organizations of the Mercer County region to bring a greater appreciation, understanding, and experience of how the arts are integral to the health of individuals and communities.

Gallery hours:

Mon-Thurs: 9-5pm
Fri & Sat: 10am-4pm

About Arts Exchange

Since 1993, the ACP has partnered with HomeFront to offer weekly hands-on art instruction to children and teens living in transitional housing in Mercer County. HomeFront is Mercer County’s largest homeless services organization. Our long-standing partnership brings kids facing home insecurity aged 5-18 to the Paul Robeson Center for the Arts for year-round arts programming, a hot dinner, homework assistance, and the opportunity for creative self-expression that should be a part of every childhood.
