Pop-Up Drum Circle with Stibol Music

March 29 @ 6:30 pm - 7:15 pm

$15

Join us for a hand drum jam session, led by Chris Stibol and Stibol Music instructor Tobias Richardson, who just completed a tour with Wu Tang Clan!

A drum circle is a communal gathering where participants play drums and other percussion instruments together. Drum circles focus primarily on rhythm and beats, unlike other musical gatherings which might emphasize melody or song. The emphasis is on group participation and connection through the beat. This kind of gathering offers numerous benefits, including stress relief, community building, improved rhythm skills, and a boost in creativity!

Drum circles are inclusive events, welcoming everyone from beginners to professional drummers. It’s all about the communal experience of drumming together.

Attendees are welcome to BYO percussion instruments, or indicate on the sign-up form that you’d like to use instruments provided by Stibol Music. Shakers and tambourines will also be provided for participants’ use. Alternatively, you may sign up just to observe and enjoy the music!
