Welcome to The Arts Council of Princeton. We’re a non-profit independent arts organization, based in Princeton, NJ. The Arts Council was established in 1967 with the belief that arts and art education are fundamental to a healthy society and enhance the quality of life for all its residents. And today, we still believe it!
We invite you to explore our website, take a class, attend an event, and visit our galleries to get to know us better. There is something for everyone here! The range of classes that we offer is amazing—with almost every medium and skill level—along with exhibitions, artist opportunities, free outreach programs, community performances, cultural events, and more. Within our robust public art program, we’re proud to offer murals, a Parklet, and alley installations around our town for the public to enjoy.
Supported by donations, grants, and tuition fees, the Arts Council provides free event programming to our community and scholarships for those who need assistance to attend our classes, ensuring that everyone in our community has access to the transformative power of creative self-expression.
