Propose an Exhibit
The Arts Council of Princeton’s Paul Robeson Center for the Arts serves as a key resource for contemporary art in central New Jersey. Through thought-provoking exhibitions and related public programs, the Arts Council presents artwork with a broad range of aesthetic, social, and cultural themes.
The submission portal is closed.
After review by the ACP Gallery Committee, current applicants will be notified of their acceptance status by mid-December 2024.
Important information:
- In an effort to showcase as many artists as possible, we give preference to dual and group exhibitions in our Taplin Gallery. Proposals for solo shows may be offered one of our alternative gallery spaces or turned down.
- Shows run for four to six weeks.
- All selected artists are responsible for getting their work to and from the Arts Council gallery – no transportation is provided unless worked out with ACP Artistic Director ahead of time.
- Guest curators are welcome to apply. Please note the applicant is responsible for the procurement and transportation of all work.

Taplin Gallery
Founded in 2008, the first-floor Taplin Gallery has featured notable artists such as Maira Kalman, Philip Pearlstein, and Willie Cole. Exhibitions held in this space host a variety of events that are free and open to the public, including gallery openings and artist talks.
Andrew Siegal Gallery
Located on the second floor, the Andrew Siegal Gallery features exhibitions from emerging local artists as well as community-based group shows. With gallery lighting and area ideal for receptions, the Andrew Siegal Gallery is a true community space.
Lower Level Gallery
Our Lower-Level Gallery is an informal gallery space ideal for emerging artists and student work.
