Celebrate el Día de los Muertos with the Arts Council of Princeton
Celebrating El Día de Los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, has been an Arts Council tradition for over 20 years!
Observed in Mexico and throughout the world in early November, the holiday is a time for family and friends to remember loved ones who have passed. Traditions include parades and the construction of private altars using sugar skulls, marigolds, and favorite foods in memory of those we’ve lost.
We invite you to learn about this culturally rich holiday by joining us for a free, family-friendly festival at the Princeton Shopping Center.
We’ll create crafts inspired by traditional Mexican folk art, decorate sugar skulls, enjoy live music by Mariachi Los Tigres de Princeton, create a community altar, and more!

Princeton Shopping Center
