Artist Talk: Hannah Fink, Jon Sarkin, and Terri Riendeau
November 30 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Free
Join the Arts Council of Princeton for an artist talk featuring three artists on view in our Paul Robeson Center for the Arts.
The work of Hannah Fink & Jon Sarkin is currently on view in the Taplin Gallery in May You Be Happy. Both artists take common themes, such as superheroes and shoes and comics, and reinterpret them into a contemporary conversation. From a giant old boot to the altered face of a hero, May You Be Happy promises to challenge the viewer’s perspective and contemplate what brings them solace, or excitement, or a sense of belonging.
Terri Riendeau‘s What Remainsis on view in the Lower Level Gallery. Riendeau began painting daily after suffering a serious concussion in the spring of 2017.
This event is held in conjunction with Arts & Health Mercer, created by a coalition of arts and culture organizations of the Mercer County region to bring a greater appreciation, understanding, and experience of how the arts are integral to the health of individuals and communities.
This is a hybrid event, held in-person in our Taplin Gallery and streamed live on Zoom. Click below to receive the log-in information.
