Gallery Opening: The Olivia & Leslie Rainbow Foundation

The Olivia & Leslie Rainbow Foundation, founded by Chris Kuenne and his sons, Peter, William and Matthew, is focused on bringing art education to young learners in celebration of the artistic lives of Olivia and Leslie Kuenne. The curriculum includes 16 hours of arts education delivered over 8 weeks to teach the creative power of art + math. Quality arts education coupled with parental involvement, is critical to early childhood development, helping kids grow up to become well-adjusted and engaged members of their communities. The child-parent connection through art nurtures creativity and academic success while strengthening the child’s self-confidence.

The Arts Council of Princeton will showcase the exceptional artwork of over 40 talented young artists from Johnson Park Elementary School’s Kindergarten and First Grade who have participated in this inaugural Art and Math program, April 19^th from 5pm to 7pm (opening) through noon on Sunday, April 21^st in our Taplin gallery.
