Welcome to Story & Verse, a monthly open mic showcasing regional storytellers, poets, and spoken word artists of all kinds.
All are invited to perform original works based on this month’s theme – BAD ROMANCE – to be interpreted as broadly as the performer wishes. Or, join our encouraging audience.
HOW TO PERFORM:
– Prepare a story, poem, or spoken word piece up to 5 minutes in length and related to the theme.
– Arrive by 6:45pm to add your name to the hat. No previous experience or pre-registration necessary.
