The Arts Council of Princeton and the Olivia & Leslie Foundation are pleased to invite you to our mid-year Art + Math Program exhibition.
This celebration will feature a Student Art Show in the ACP’s Taplin Gallery, showcasing the exceptional artwork of over 40 talented young artists from the Johnson Park Elementary School’s Kindergarten and First Grade who have participated in our program.
The Olivia & Leslie Foundation, founded by Chris Kuenne and his sons, Peter, William and Matthew, is focused on bringing art education to young learners in celebration of the artistic lives of Olivia and Leslie. Our curriculum includes 16 hours of arts education delivered over 8 weeks to teach the creative power of art + math. Quality arts education coupled with parental involvement, is critical to early childhood development, helping kids grow up to become well-adjusted and engaged members of their communities. The child-parent connection through art nurtures creativity and academic success while strengthening the child’s self-confidence.
