ART OF Plant Based Nutrition

July 31 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

$30

This evening brings together strong voices in the field of lifestyle medicine to explore how food can be a powerful tool for prevention, healing, and whole-person health. Dr. Scott Stoll will guide us through his plant-focused approach to wellness, while Certified Lifestyle Medicine Professional, Rev. Dr. Natalie Mitchem, will explore the Seven Key Pillars of Heart Health—spirituality, exercise, love, food, intimacy, sleep, and humor—and their role in community and individual well-being. A segment with Rev. Dr. Natalie Mitchem and Karina Pearse, MS will underscore the impact of food on brain health, followed by cooking demonstrations and a food tasting featuring easy recipes for wellness, disease prevention, and recovery. A portion of ticket sales will support the Mt. Pisgah AME Church’s mission to empower communities and build health equity.
