Story & Verse: A Storytelling, Poetic, and Spoken Word Open Mic

Welcome to Story & Verse, a monthly open mic showcasing regional storytellers, poets, and spoken word artists of all kinds. Story & Verse welcomes everyone, from beginners to published performers.

All are welcome to perform original works based on this month’s theme – CAUTION TO THE WIND – to be interpreted as broadly as the performer wishes. Or, join our encouraging audience.

Meet us in the Arts Council’s Solley Theater for this free event.

HOW TO PERFORM:

• Prepare a story, poem, or spoken word piece up to 5 minutes in length and (at least loosely) related to the theme.
• Arrive by 6:45pm to add your name to the hat. No previous experience or pre-registration necessary.

Held in partnership with Trenton Curator, Story & Verse is free and open to all and hosted by Brass Rabbit.
