05 Dec Open Position: Media Production Intern
The Arts Council of Princeton (ACP) is seeking a Media Production Intern to produce engaging video and photo content that highlights our wide-spanning projects and programs.
This is an unpaid internship, ideal for students looking to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit/arts field(s), editing, and content creation.
The Arts Council is a non-profit community art organization that fulfills its mission by presenting a wide range of inclusive and accessible arts and arts education programs. Offerings include classes, camps, and workshops in visual, performing, and media arts as well as exhibitions, public art projects, performances, and free community cultural events.
Qualifications
- Strong photography, video production, and editing skills
- Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook)
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for art!
Responsibilities
- Film and edit footage of our events and programs. Completed work will be utilized on ACP social media, website, reports, and various print and digital mediums.
- Collaborate with the media team to develop and pitch video concepts, identifying trends and/or opportunities for new content
This is an in-person role that will require attendance at agreed-upon events and programs, including some weeknights and weekends. Internship will begin January 2025, up to ~12 hours per week. Hours and days of week can be flexible to match your schedule.
