The Arts Council of Princeton is delighted to join forces with Send Hunger Packing Princeton in their mission to alleviate food insecurity within our community. Over the past year, our Paul Robeson Center for the Arts has functioned as a convenient hub for distributing fresh produce to local families. Additionally, an on-site free pantry enables residents to access essentials and share surplus items with others. Last fall brought the addition of the Princeton Free Garden Project, an initiative that empowers community members to harvest produce from a communal garden.

Elizabeth Wagner from Bryn Mawr Trust has exemplified her signature spirit of generosity and commitment to community resilience by offering her team’s time and expertise. The BMT team will provide plants and oversee the garden’s ongoing maintenance, ensuring it remains a thriving resource for the community. As Senior Vice President Brian Taylor puts it “At Bryn Mawr Trust, community is at the heart of everything we do, and we have been deeply rooted in the communities we serve for almost 200 years. We’re thrilled to work in the garden and look forward to a bountiful year.”
