Staff Summer Camera Roll

We may be sad that summer has come to a close, but we will always have the memories. In that spirit, we asked our staff to share some fun times they had outside our building:

“Of all places, so much great sculpture can be found in Grand Rapids Michigan. I often visit Michigan in the summer to see family and pound the old pavement where I grew up and wanted to see Nick Caves new sculpture, Amalgam, at the Meijer Sculpture Gardens. The added bonus of having a Claes Oldenberg giant garden trowel just around the corner, followed by Ai Weiwei’s Iron Tree was a walk of pure joy. Highly recommend!”

We realized our dream of becoming homeowners!! We are in love with our little Cape Cod in Griggstown and are having the best time making it our own. “

“One of my highlights this summer was my annual tradition of working at a weeklong camp in Vermont at a Shambhala Buddhist meditation center. It’s a summer camp I used to go to as a kid and it’s the most fun EVER!”
– Emma

“Dave spent the last half of August getting away on a European trip from Barcelona to Rome with his partner, Peter. With days spent in Barcelona and Mallorca, Spain, Cannes and Corsica, France, and the coast of Italy, they took in this summer’s Solar Eclipse in the middle of the Mediterranean–just don’t ask to see his credit card statements, okay?”

“On a beautiful summer evening I went with my pals to see the band Caamp in Queens. The best.”
– Liza

“In the middle of June I went to LBI for a few days. I relaxed on the beach, ate yummy food, and slowed down and enjoyed the sites of Beach Haven.”
– Catherine

I planned an adventure to the Connecticut casinos; I noticed a Native American lake on the map in Massachusetts that was an hour away.  I had to add it to my itinerary – I cannot pronounce it and yes, it is a real place!”
