Kick off Pride Month at this all-ages community disco dance party featuring live music by The Einstein Alley Disco Funk Machine.
It is the 50th anniversary of the height of the disco era, and we’re marking the milestone and launching Pride Month at this community event. Clothing inspired by the era is encouraged!
The event will also feature an appearance by drag artist Divinity Banks and a chance to do the Hustle and other iconic dances. Inside the library in the Community Room, there will be space to connect with others.
The musicians of the Disco Funk Machine include the local band The Beagles with Joy as well as select members of Loose Bricks and added vocals by Olive Joseph and Catrice Joseph-Dean.
